Based in Portland, Oregon, Katie also travels to other locations. Her recent photographic work has included weddings in Jamaica, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and St. Louis, Missouri.

Professional Canon digital equipment provides for the creative processes and quality Katie consistently achieves.
She still has her trusty film cameras which she never plans to part with, but the vast majority of her assignments are captured utilizing state of the art digital gear.
Posed or candid?
Katie captures wedding day events as they unfold in a photojournalistic, documentary style. During the pre-wedding meeting, Katie will discuss portrait preferences, including desired group shots and pivotal moments relevant to the couple. Realizing their importance, Katie also creates traditional portraits of the couple and their loved ones. While she is favored for her photojournalistic and candid style, Katie does not lack in organization or preparation. Her professionalism is evident in the efficiency and resultant beauty of each portrait session.
What about albums?
The wedding day is one of the most important days of a couple's life. Each unique album will be a work of art re-telling the story of this day over and over- guaranteed! Katie offers many sizes and styles of albums. After going over the wedding day images, Katie asks each couple to identify their favorites. Upon receiving their choices, she will design an album layout which is then reviewed and approved by the couple. Katie's goal is for each couple to have a deeply meaningful record of their wedding day- quality/results they deserve!
